Overview :

Under the overall guidance of UNDP Haiti Country Director and direct supervision of the head of the Management Support Unit (MSU); the incumbent is part of the Management Support Unit of the Country Office and works in close collaboration with all units of the the Country Office as required for optimal results.

The Programme Finance Specialist is responsible for providing expert support to programme/project financial resources management and the provision of accurate, thoroughly researched and documented financial information. He/she analyzes and interprets the financial rules and regulations relevant to the programme/project and provides solutions to a wide spectrum of complex financial issues. The Finance Specialist promotes a collaborative, client-oriented approach consistent with UNDP rules and regulations.

The Programme Finance Specialist will also support the Country Office in specific areas of capacity development.

  • Brief description of why the individual considers him/herself as the most suitable for the assignment, and a methodology, if applicable, on how they will approach and complete the assignment;
  • Planning logical, realistic for the efficient implementation of the activity;
  • Financial Proposal that indicates the all-inclusive fixed total contract price, supported by a breakdown of costs.

Criteria for Selection of the Best Offer: Combined Scoring method – where the qualifications and methodology will be weighted a max. of 70%, and combined with the price offer which will be weighted a max of 30%.
